Staff Bios

Emma Nicolazzo, Manager/CPO
Emma is a recent graduate of Duquesne University with a degree in Middle-Level Education. After completing her student teaching assignment at Norwin School District, "Miss Nic" (as her students called her) taught within the Gateway School District. Returning for her third summer as Pool Manager, Emma is a Certified Pool Operator, Certified Pesticide Applicator as well as a Certified Lifeguard (including First Aid, CPR, AED).
She lives in Monroeville, and enjoys spending time with her friends, family and a nice guy named Glenn.

Morgan Bush, Co-Head Coach
Coach Morgan has been coaching swimming for about 10 years, with experience coaching Summer League (ESA), year-round swimming (AMS) and High School swimming. Morgan is currently an Assistant Coach at Greater Pitt Aqua Club. She excited to bring her fun and competitive mix to GHC this summer, helping teach our younger swimmers and coaching our more experienced swimmers to improve their strokes and times!
Coach Morgan is a graduate of Carlow University with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She most recently taught within the Fox Chapel School District. She is also a Water Aerobics Instructor, Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor and has been a swim lessons instructor for 14 years.
In her free time, Coach Morgan enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and most importantly her dog, Fire!

Glenn Raymer, Co-Head Coach
For nearly 25 years, Coach Glenn has been coaching swimming at all levels including Summer League, USA Swimming, AMS and high school. Glenn is currently an Assistant Coach for the Gateway High School teams. Summer League and Learn-to-Swim programs are among his favorites, as this provides the perfect opportunity to focus on teaching youth how to swim, and the development of stroke techniques for competitive swimming.
An accomplished swimmer himself, he has helped many swimmers qualify for the WPIAL and PIAA Championships, attain Junior National, Speed Futures and Sectionals cuts and be selected for AMS Age Group Zone teams. His experience has also guided two swimmers to Senior National Championships and one to the US Olympic Trials!
Coach Glenn lives in Monroeville with his wife, Carolyn, and three children, Summer, Hunter, and Gunner. He is a Teacher and Administrator with the Butler Area School District.

Molly Goss, Head Coach: Synchro Swim
Coach Molly is returning for her second season, after successfully re-starting the Synchronized Swimming program at Gateway Heights (it had been over 30 years since the last one)! With more than 15 years’ experience, she began her synchro career at the age of five in Forest Hills, where she also swam on the swim team. Coach Molly began her studies at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, but due to the pandemic she decided to transfer to Chatham University where she would be closer to her family. She actively working through the RN to BSN program at the Shadyside School of Nursing. Molly has also worked as a Nanny for the past three years. She is so excited to bring new music and routines to this year’s Gateway Heights Synchro Swim program!!!

Ellie Withers, Assistant Coach: Synchro Swim
Coach Ellie has agreed to volunteer her time to help with our Synchro Swim program! Currently in her Junior year at University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg, she is studying History and Writing. Coach Ellie has been involved with synchronized swimming since the age of five, and as she states, "I still love it today!" She is really looking forward to spending the summer with and getting to know our swimmers...no doubt it will be a blast!
